This training is aimed at everyone who needs to speak for an audience. Business as well as technical and commercial presentations are dealt with. Coworkers and managers are expected to be able to fluently present their ideas and plans. Not only the ideas themselves are important, the way the speaker communicates them to his audience is even more important. TRAINED SKILLS At the end of the training you have an understanding of:   - the precise functioning of the communication process - the importance of body language - the importance of the sequence in which you introduce ideas - the importance of the right formulation. You are able to:   - to give a fluent and efficient presentation with less fear of failure; - functionally use visual aids; - reply (appropriately) to additional questions. HOW DO WE WORK ? The trainer starts from experiences of participants, e.g. from existing presentations. These are analysed and discussed individually. Afterwards the participants develop an understanding of the various aspects of presenting. The majority of the time however is spent on the actual giving of presentations. The participants prepare a presentation (which can possibly be used in the company). They present the details during one of the classes. We evaluate structure, visual aids, body language, ... The participants are given concrete tips for improvement. During the next class(es) the participants again give a presentation taking into account the feedback they were given previously.
